a competition or tournament on TV

Dear all,
For some reason, I have always enjoyed watching sports. My dad was “mad” about football and I listened to football all my early life. However, I only developed my love for watching tournaments in the past ten years. I had a knee injury that stopped me from running. My interest increased when I started doing sports on a regular basis and also started reading about muscles and how to develop them.
I love the Olympic Games, the Rugby world cup and the football world cup. They are my three favourite events. To me, the capacity of the human body is nearly unlimited. Football is something that I like because I feel is the only collective sport which allows more or less anybody to participate. I think most humans given the chance, could develop sports skills, the problem is that many sports are too elitist. I believe sports help people be healthier and happier.
One thing I would like to watch one day is a tournament for disabled people. I am sure it must be quite inspiring.

a social issue you are interested in

Dear all,
I hope everyone is well.
Today I’d like to refer to an issue that worries me a little.
For me, the issue of greatest concern is education, but not only formal education. Education is related to quality, but also to access and participation. What is seen as a good career to study will determine your options. When you look at a country in which the majority of people have serious reading comprehension issues, we face a problem that goes beyond which school children go to (Which is another area to develop). It relates to how do we as people understand texts and how we can help others and particularly children, to become more aware of their reality and more confident and critical adults in the future who study what they want, not what is paid best. I strongly believe children and young people are the hope for a better future. When parents work 8 hours a day and then commute home for another hour, how can we ask them to read with the children.  Or when parents don’t read, it is unlikely (not impossible) children read. Here we touch other complex issues.
I dream of a place where all people have different opportunities, not necessarily in academic studies, there are plenty more areas to work on. However, how can we exploit that if people here do not value jobs like gas fitter, electrician, mechanics, draftsmen, seamstresses, etc.? We need all sorts of people to make the world go around.
There is a need for a paradigmatic change that is deep and radical. We need the Ministry of Education to open their eyes and look beyond. Implement policies that encourage children to enjoy their childhood and not just competiveness

Write about a social issue that you feel needs addressing in this administration.
Describe it briefly.
Explain some of the consequences.
Refer to how the state could address it or include any other relevant information.
